I Finally Did It - Original Mixed Media Collage
Cutting your hair is a life changing experience. Your physical appearance is altered, your perception of yourself becomes altered; everything is different. Cutting my hair was SO freeing. In this 17” mixed media collage, this figure represents the feeling of growth that I felt after cutting off dead ends. It creates space for new hair to grow in healthier and stronger. It’s an ode to the fact that new beginnings can be beautiful.
